Mission
Northstar University exists to serve the Presbyterian Church Abroad and the Kingdom of God, equipping students for effective service to God, His Church, and the world to which He sends us for evangelism.
As a denominational seminary of the Presbyterian Church Abroad, the main purpose of Northstar University is to train leaders for the church and society through training in piety and devotion, research and academic study, and practical Gospel application.
In line with the mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and embodying the Kingdom of God, Northstar University provides theological foundation, professional performance, and spiritual formation to equip dedicated individuals to faithfully live and respond to the Kingdom of God.
Based on its motto, “Pietas et Scientia†(Piety and Knowledge), the University's creeds, and the NSU constitution, Northstar University educates students to be good workers who dedicate their lives to the church and the Kingdom of God.
